Conversations About Conversations

Sep 21, 2021

On this episode of Conversations About Conversations, Alex Brown and Ivan Farber speculate on the Curriculum for Conversations University. It’s not that there aren’t places where you couldn't learn what these classes would teach. You can learn them from books, seminars, workshops or other people. But they’re not offered in college and we believe they should be because they’d be invaluable for young adults.

A few examples are: how to run meetings, how to have tough conversations, how to deal with people who are emotional. Algebra and biology are interesting to know, but not applicable to most people’s real careers and lives. How to network, how to interview and how to ask for a raise would be indispensable.
