Because when you don’t have the knowledge of how to ask questions skillfully, it’s easier and more comfortable to just talk and hope the conversation goes in the right direction. But, if you’re going to manage a conversation in an expert fashion, you have to become committed to and skillful at asking questions.
The bottom line is you have to use questions skillfully if you’re going to be an extraordinary relationship manager.
